Igor Kogut

Igor KOGUT is Chief of Party of USAID Program "RADA: Responsible Accountable Democratic Assembly". He also holds the position of Co-Founder and Honorary Director of the Ukrainian School of Political Studies. Prior to that Igor served as Chairman of the Board of the Agency for Legislative Initiatives. Since March 2015 Mr. Kogut has been a member of the Constitutional Commission under the President of Ukraine. From 2001 he was a chief editor of "Parliament" journal. He was a consultant to the Council of Europe and the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights on citizen participation in the political decision making. In 2012-2013 Igor Kogut was a member of the Constitutional Assembly and the Council for Civil Society Development. In 2012 co-chaired the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. During the elections of 2012 and 2014 he was the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the National Exit Poll. During the elections of 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2007 Igor was the coordinator of the monitoring and public awareness campaigns. In 1997-2002 worked as adviser to faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. He has been working in leading think tanks in Ukraine since 1995. Mr. Kogut holds a master degree in Political Science from National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" where he is also a Senior lecturer of the National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy".
